WE ARE DONE!

This is your Great and Powerful Admin here.

WE ARE DONE!

CD has been submitted on time. CAD Model is in the Bimserver. Life is good.

'Tis was a crazy few weeks. Four weeks of non-stop, back-to-back assignments and submissions.

And it's over. The last of the Second Year Submissions.

High Fives all around, and I look forward to working with all of you in the near future.

Happy holidays.

Finally signing out,
Saunder

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT. FINAL SUBMISSION IMMINENT

Okay, the end is near.

Just a quick checklist.

Kris
You have the Layouts and three of the final images. Pass me the working file and I'll throw them in the CD

Tony
Pass me the original textures and mat libraries that I sent you earlier. Also the concept drawings you did on my Wacom.

Justin
You too. Pass me the concept drawings. If you don't have them I'll take the low-res ones from the site.

Brian
I'm sending you a backup version of the disc in case. Prepare to burn it in case of catastrophic failure. (I'm paranoid like that)

Saunder
Burn that disc and be done with it!

Last Call

Another cross-post from my blog

Here's the final submission images for our assignment.

Pretty swish eh?

Lovely work you guys did. Thank everyone for their contribution and support in this project.

We're awesome like that.

Dawn

The final day remains.
Sneak preview render guys. Enjoy.

Okay, I know we're all gathered here in the computer lab for the final compilations, so this post might be a bit redundant.

But hey, our readers must know!

So here we are. The final submission. Kris is shopping as fast as he can. (Geddit, shopping?) Brian is here generating some analogues for the Analogue Presentation sheet. Justin and Tony are updating their blogs, and I'm using three computers to render stuff.

I have to say it was a fun few weeks working with you lot. Messy, but fun.

Get some sleep guys.

Justin needs it

Test Renders are in

Cross posted from my blog.

Here are some quick and dirty preview renders for the final compilation. They're not processed and a bit on the dark side (I didn't want to spend too much processing time on them), previews and all.

Tell me which are great and which are rubbish so I know which to give my attention and processor power to.

Weekly update #04

Weekly Update 4, bad test render edition.

Okay, it's really bad. I'm so sorry. ):

---

IMPORTANT NEWS: As you may or may not know, our submission deadline got extended, it's now the 11th of November (heh, 11/11/11, heh heh)

Okay. Model is done. You guys can celebrate!

---
Why do we even need a job distribution?

'cos we're awesome like that, that's why.

Brian

Got a few questions about the model I may need answering. Get on MSN when you're free

Kris and Justin
Okay. Main design is done. You two might need to go through the model one more time to do some error checking.

Also, Kris, I might need help doing the layout/analogue drawings. I'll send you the PDF/Illustrator files via mail.

Tony
Got your SMS. Do you have any images in mind for the materiality? The enamel/glossy bits are good to go, but the wood, concerte and exterior might need some more detail. Take a look to the material library I sent you. If there's something you  like, it'd make my day easier.

Saunder
Just keep rendering, my good sir. :D

I'm just happy it's all going to plan. Blogs are good.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: LIBRARY OBJECTS

It has come to my attention that some of the library objects are missing from the Bimserver.

Here's the solution that I found while trying to fix it earlier.
*LE GASP* HORY SHEEP, MISSING LIBRARY OBJECTS!

DON'T PANIC.

Go to Library Manger

Click the highlighted button. AC14 will contact the Teamwork Server to get the Library back.

If this doesn't work. Try reloading all the libraries using your LOCAL AC14 Library. I think some naughty people on the Bimserver are messing with the server libraries.

If it still doesn't run, PM me or Brian.
